Okay, here's a trick for beating those almost-unbeatable bosses:
You can't be hit by enemy bullets/dynamite/whatever when you're jumping from high to low or from low to high (not just jumping, but going/leaving the top floor etc. You know what I mean, jumping while holding the up/down button).
For instance at the final boss's mansion, jump on a balcony if a bullet approaches, shoot, jump off, shoot, jump on... and so on. This trick might take a while to master, so practice practice practice!
And a hint: when fighting bosses, first take out the supporting bad guys, then concentrate on the bosses themselves...they're much easier without their minor sidekicks.
