![]() Member Baby Gumby Posts: 2 | thanks very much! Nice to have an open reception. I'll even thing of a terribly witty sigline at some point. Maybe even throw in Dirk Gently-ism or two. random fact: despite the fact that its still a completely pointless game my favorite C64 game is still "Ducks Ahoy" by CBS Software. |

![]() Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11573 | To torture you, I'll tell you what the game is about: you drive around a small boat in a Venice-like city (i.e. channels instead of roads). Ducks jump out of the buildings into the water. You have to catch them so that they don't drown (or whatever...). Now that is evil, isn't it? ![]() ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

![]() Member Master Gumby Posts: 103 | Drown?!! I thought ducks could swim like... well ... ducks, really? At least in Lemmings you knew that when you left your little critters unatended they'd splat mercilessly on the ground. Now that was evil. ![]() Anyway, welcome to the Spam Club, Airplane. ----- C'est pas la chute qu'importe — c'est l'atterrissage |

Member Prof Gumby Posts: 336 | AHA... I'm a new member. I found this site 'cause I was looking for referance to the game 'Plan 9 From Outer Space' in celebration of the late-great Ed Woods birthday. I like the look of this site, it seems a close community which is good. .....aaaaaanyway, in the theme of the thread, a bit about myslelf.... Vitals..... 27,M,UK,Programmer General Bio.... I like old videogames, especially from the Atari 2600 (I have a _major_ collection for this system), C64, Speccy and Megadrive. I also like the Dreamcast a lot and see this as the collectors lot of the future. Aside from gaming I like Football (supporting Burnley(English 1st Division)) and also play classical guitar which I used to teach as well. So there you have it! |

![]() Member Retired Gumby Posts: 936 | Whew! Classical guitar is nuts. I envy that you can play that. I mainly play jazz, blues, or rock, but I'd really like to learn classical, but truly, it seems to be the hardest guitar style to master. I used to have some Atari games, but then I gave them to my cousin, since I really didn't play them all that too often, and that made his collection quite large, as he had a few already. I'd be interested to hear what you have. Tuss ----- Keep your stick on the ice |
