NBA Jam Codes

POWER UP DUNKS
This lets you dunk from anywhere past the half court line. Start a normal game. On the Tonight's Match-Up screen, rotate the controller clockwise while you press B 13 times, and hold B on the thirteenth time. Continue rotating the controller until the game has started.

SHOT PERCENTAGE
This lets you see what your average shooting percentage would be from any spot on
the court. Start a normal game. On the Tonight's Match-Up screen, tap any button
once. Then hold Down, A, and B until the tip-off. You will see the words "% Shot
Display Activated."

POWER UP FIRE
This makes you "On Fire" permanently. Start a normal game. On the Tonight's
Match-Up screen, press any button seven times. Then hold B, Y and Up until the
game has started.

JUICE MODE
This will double the speed of both your team and your opponent's team. Start a
normal game. On the Tonight's Match-Up screen, press any button 13 times. Then
hold B and X until the game has started.

POWER UP DEFENSE 
This makes your computer player more aggressive defensively. Start a normal game.
On the Tonight's Match-Up screen, press any button five times, holding the button
on the fifth time until the game has started.

POWER UP TURBO
This lets you have unlimited use of turbo. Start a normal game. On the Tonight's
Match-Up screen, press B seven times. Then hold A, B and Y until the game has
started.

PLAY AS BILL CLINTON
To play as Bill Clinton, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then select
 "Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("AR") by highlighting each
letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("K") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press X to enter the third initial.

PLAY AS CHOW CHOW
To play as Chow Chow, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then
select "Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("CA") by highlighting
each letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("R") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press X to enter the third

PLAY AS AL GORE 
To play as Al Gore, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then select
"Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("NE") by highlighting each
letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("T") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press A to enter the third
initial. Al Gore: "NET" w/A

PLAY AS KABUKI
To play as Kabuki, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then select
"Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 ("QB") letters by highlighting each
letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("_") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press X to enter the third

PLAY AS MARK TURMELL
To play as Mark Turmell, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then
select "Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("MJ") by highlighting
each letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("T") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press A to enter the third

PLAY AS WEASEL
To play as Weasel, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then select
"Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("SA") by highlighting each
letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("X") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press X to enter the third

PLAY AS JAMIE RIVETT
To play as Jamie Rivett, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then
select "Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("RJ") by highlighting
each letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("R") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press X to enter the third

POWER UP INT
This lets you have a greater chance of intercepting a pass. Start a normal game. On 
the Tonight's Match-Up screen, press any button repeatedly while rotating the
controller counter-clockwise until the game has started.

PLAY AS SAL DIVITA
To play as Sal Divita, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then select
"Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("SA") by highlighting each
letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("L") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press X to enter the third

PLAY AS WARREN MOON
To play as Warren Moon, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then
select "Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("UW") by highlighting
each letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("_") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press A to enter the third

PLAY AS AIR DOG
To play as Air Dog, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then select
"Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("AI") by highlighting each
letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("R") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press X to enter the third

PLAY AS P FUNK
To play as P Funk, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then select
"Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("DI") by highlighting each
letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("S") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press A to enter the third
initial. P Funk: "DIS" w/A

PLAY AS SCRUFF
To play as Scruff, start a normal "Head To Head" or "Team" game, then select
"Yes" for entering your initials. Enter the first 2 letters ("RO") by highlighting each
letter and pressing A. Put the cursor on the third initial ("D") but do not enter it.
Press and hold the L button, the R button and Start. Then press X to enter the third
initial.
