Review by Rob:
Soccer game similar to Sensible Soccer. At first, it looks quite promising and graphically it can keep up with the popular game by Sensible Software. But International Soccer is really lacking in terms of gameplay. One of the most annoying things is that you have no control over which player you are controlling. The game automatically chooses the one nearest to the ball. Wouldn't be bad at all, if that would be done correctly. But it isn't, as it only changes one second after the ball has touched the ground. And to top it your other computer-controlled players stand or run around like foolish idiots when not under your control, giving the opponent all the time to be first at the ball after every goal kick. Would that work out better, International Soccer could have been one of the better soccer games around. But this way it's nearly unplayable.
